Women are driving real AI value through adoption and implementation, but that work stays invisible unless it is deliberately measured, communicated, and sponsored.

Advisors in a breakout on AI and workforce recognition agreed that much of the value from AI comes not from proposing ideas but from adoption, workflow redesign, and quiet execution. They described the "meeting after the meeting" where alignment and implementation actually happen, work often led by women and often unseen by leadership. A recurring practical barrier was measurement itself: proving AI value through hours saved or cost reductions remains a manual, effortful process, which slows recognition and reuse. Operators stressed that AI wins do not spread on merit alone. Leaders were urged to socialize solutions across the organization, so both the value and the person creating it become visible. Several noted that many contributors understate their work and rarely position themselves as owners rather than participants. This creates a retention risk: skilled people carrying AI implementation may go uncredited and disengage. Advisors placed responsibility on leaders too, suggesting strengths assessments to identify value creators who avoid self-promotion, and active sponsorship of those doing the work. For executives, the signals are concrete. Instrument AI workflows to capture impact automatically. Reward integration and adoption, not only novel concepts. Build internal channels to share and reuse proven AI solutions. And ensure the people driving real value are named, sponsored, and retained.
